Such a loss. A lovely and clever man that I knew for many years. I look back fondly on working with Ian. Always with a smile and warmth that will be missed. Deepest sympathies to Moira and his family. Rest in Peace

I knew Ian for quite a long time, since we both met in Banbury many years ago. He was part of the team that helped that new Spanish family move in town. My thoughts are with the family now. Un beso y un abrazo muy fuerte

I have very fond memories working with Ian for many years from Ireland in Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia. He was a real gentleman and will be sorely missed. My condolences to all Ian's family and friends.

I've very fond memories of working with Ian through both ALU and Nokia. He was a top individual, on a number of levels. Knowing him as that brilliant Engineer and also as a friend was a real pleasure. So sad to hear of his passing. Thoughts going out to his family and friends at this devastating time.
